After a long year and a half, we managed to unite this beautiful family. The mother had not seen her child in quite sometime after going back and forth with the state of Michigan we were able to reunite the family. Long hours of work extensive phone calls and documents but it was all well worth it! Just to see the smiles on their faces. The path may be dark but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. We are more than just a shelter this is home and beyond that the guest here are family. We are extremely happy to be a part of this unification.
