Easter Sunday Dinner Project

The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce has been working hard connecting businesses for 40 years. We are a business advocacy; economic development organization working to create and sustain relationships among businesses and between businesses and the community. The Community Leadership Institute (CLI) was developed to support access to the region’s many organizations, industries, and business leaders as part of the succession plan not only for individual businesses but for the community at large in this 21st century technology and knowledge-driven economy.

Each year, CLI participants come together to complete a community project through the course of the nine-month program. Participants select a project, or break into smaller groups of similar interest, with a goal to positively affect the community while also managing and executing the project before the end of the program year.

The following Community Leadership Institute Class (CLI) participants coordinated a Easter Sunday Dinner Project for the families at the Opportunities for Hope Shelter with food, games, crafts, an Easter egg hunt and Easter baskets for the children:

Rosa Rivera – UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital

Aimee Cotnoir – Fitchburg Art Museum

Autumn Kelly – Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School

Patrick O’Connell – Enterprise Bank

Lindsay Carpenter Connors – Fitchburg State University

Maureen Babcock – North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce

Nathalie Rivera-Castro – Workers Credit Union

Luisa Fernandez from Fitchburg Public Schools, who is not part of the CLI class, also volunteered her time to assist with the event.
